ABOUT THE BEECHWOOD HOTEL

The Beechwood Hotel is a traditional country pub set in the picturesque Hastings Hinterland. The Hotel has separate Bar, Bistro, Pool Table and two Beer Gardens which can cater for all of your entertaining needs.

We are located just 25 minutes from Port Macquarie and 10 minutes from Wauchope, so why not take the short drive and experience some traditional country hospitality?

We have all the modern conveniences you would expect, including WIFI, Foxtel, 8 Beers on tap, ATM and Eftpos facilities. There’s even a hitching rail out the front for your horse!

Day 1 Long Flat Pub

110km and 34km official finish is at Kindee bridge. You can ride the 3.2km (downhill) to pub or get someone to pick you up (3 mins).

When you arrive at Long Flat Pub, you will come through the flag finish to receive your beer.
There will be a mini bus going to Beechwood Hotel so you can pick up your vehicles. Leaving from lunch approx or when there is enough to fill mini bus. No bikes on bus. There will be a secure area at the finish to leave your bikes until you get your car. Only a few trips will be made, so please car pool Saturday morning.
Suggestion is to stay at Long Flat Pub Friday night and carpool to start at Beechwood Hotel Saturday morning.
Dinner will be served between 5-30pm to 7.30pm.
Riders will receive a voucher at check-in to use on Saturday night ONLY for a race dinner meal.
NO VOUCHER no meal.
Support crew are able to purchase meals from the menu.
Entertainment in the beer garden will start from 5pm.
Bar is open to purchase drinks.

Day 2 Tom Creek Road

There will be a light breakfast for riders Sunday morning in the beer garden area [where dinner was Saturday night].
Day 2 Start is 5.3km from the pub.
You can either ride to start or car pool.
Parking across the road in the Reverse (Main Street, Ellenborough).
River Street, Ellenborough will be where the briefing is, then you will ride down the road to the start of Tom Creek Road, where timing gates are and your race will start.
This is an out and back course.
